EXPRESSING AND UNDERSTANDING

The energy the emanates from the soil we till heals, strengths, and loves us as we love it. It is the same energy we've given to the ground, to our community, but transformed as it's processed and returned in a different form. Understanding and utilizing this energy has the potential teach us many things we could otherwise never understand. It is love manifested in dirt.

This painting creates a sense of energy and healing through thick, solid acrylic strokes contrasted by the weightless chalky oil stick strokes interplaying on and outside of the acrylic strokes.
