EXPRESSING AND UNDERSTANDING
Tomatoes, squash, butternut squash, yellow tomatoes, corn (unsuccessfully), and a few weeds, our garden is fruitful, our garden reminds us of the abundance available to us when we sow seeds of change and growth. This painting is a reminder of what we have grown, are growing, and will grow in the garden. It is an ode to the dirty fingernails, achy knees, and smiling faces circulating in our areas of growth.
Part of the negroes nature nurture series.
