EXPRESSING AND UNDERSTANDING

This painting hits on the duality of who I think I am versus how I thought of myself. This disconnect lead to a certain level of misery for me. In order to resolve this, I had to accept myself for who I was and again tether myself back to reality by remaining in the present. Not where I thought I should be.
