EXPRESSING AND UNDERSTANDING

On a calm Thursday evening, an amazing assemblage of musical artist convened at a small bar in University Heights, a neighborhood in San Diego. Miro Imani, La Boogie Buena, and Bambula Music were stellar acts. Miro Imani led with his unique, soulful sound he always brings. La Boogie Buena brought the funk if you didn't guess. And Bambula music brought a huge 17-piece ensemble and the rhythms to match. All of the artist shook the house. It was fascinating to see how a few simple rhythms and vocals can change a modest bar into a dance party.
